With a background in chemical engineering, environmental management, and "Third World" development, I joint UNEP in 1996. Initially working on environmental management in industial estates, I started working in the OzonAction Programme in 1997 developping training modules and organised workshops in English and French-speaking developing countries (mainly Caribbean and Africa). From November 2002, I took over management and coordination tasks related to project and financial monitoring as well as the certifying function. Since September 2005, I am in charge of the Network of Ozone Officers in Eastern Europe and Central Asia providing compliance assistance, organising annual network meetings, thematic meetings and facilitating regional awareness raising, country-to-country assistance and programmatic assistance.
