Working in the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences from 1990-1992, Mr Shaofeng HU participated in the preparation of the China Country Programme for the Phase out of ODS. From 1993, until joining the programme in 1999, he worked in the State Environmental Protection Administration of China in charge of policy setting for ozone layer protection, and strategy (sector plans) development in different ODS production and consumption sectors. He holds an MS for Environmental Management and Planning from Beijing University, China.
