Mrs. Vega is Chemical Engineer who graduated from the University of the Uruguay Republic. She has 6 years experience working for her Government in environmental areas including industrial pollution, quality water monitoring and acid rain. After that, she was a member of the Uruguayan Ozone Unit for 10 years and was a member of the ODS/LAC Network from its inception. She joined the UNEP DTIE OzonAction Programme in February 2003 as the leader of the ROLAC team within the framework of theCompliance Assistance Programme.
