Ozzy Goes Polar' was launched in Buenos Aires, Argentina on
4 June during the event entitled: Youth engagement for Environmental
Protection and Sustainable Development, which was a national
youth event held in the Ministry of Environment in Argentina.
The event was organized by the UNEP's GEO for Youth in Latin
America and the Caribbean Network and was attended by more than
150 Argentinean youth leaders from more than 10 provinces. Representatives
of the GEO for Youth LAC network presented the electronic version
of Ozzy goes Polar to young leaders, which got interested in
doing a dissemination strategy at the local level in Argentina.
National Partners will soon deliver a proposal to work together
with OzonAction.

Ozzy Goes Polar was presented in San Jose Costa Rica on June 10th
during the event entitled 'Environmental Festival' for the World
Environment Day organized by the Youth office of the Red Cross,
Costa Rica. The event was held in the National Museum of Costa Rica
and was jointly organized by the Ministry of Environment. The Minister
of Environment, Mr. Roberto Dobles was invited to attend this event.
'Ozzy Goes Polar' was launched in Sancti Espiritus in Cuba as
a part of the activities of the GEO for Youth Cuba Network. National
partners organized launches in close cooperation with the Museum
of Natural History in Cuba involving schools, teachers and NGOs.
Partners also presented the Ozzy Ozone video, TV spots, Radio
Spots and the Education Pack. About 500 youth in Cuba were involed
in this launch.

'Ozzy Goes Polar' was launched in Mexico City on
5 June during the event entitled 'Celebrating the World Environment
Day' organized by the GEO for Youth Mexico Network. This event
was held at the Ministry of Youth of Mexico and was attended by
some 100 young leaders in Mexico from more than 10 provinces.
Representatives of the GEO for Youth Mexico Network presented
the electronic version of 'Ozzy Goes Polar' to young leaders.
As an outcome of the presentation, young leaders requested some
Ozzy Ozone material to disseminate in the youth organizations
in the Mexican States.
'Ozzy Goes Polar' was launched in Tromsø, Norway. This event
held at Tromsø Library was part of World Environment Day
on 5 June 2007. The launch was attended by pupils from Lunheim and
Rudolf Steiner Schools and the international press.
This was the first time Ozzy Ozone and Zoe were introduced to children
in person.
