A consultative meeting organized by the UNEP OzonAction Programme to assist Article 5 countries in addressing their CFC needs post 2010 through EUN or equivalent procedures approved by Meeting of Parties. This objectives of this meeting were to: Provide background information to the countries on EUN related consultations including EUN decisions held up to the MTOC meeting in April 2008; Discuss in detail inputs for EUN nomination for Article 2 Parties for experience sharing; Provide guidance to Article 5 countries on their EUN submission and procedures; and to provide clarity on roles and responsibilities of Industry, Government, Health Regulatory authorities, NOUs and Implementing Agencies relating to this. |
