Handbook on Methyl Bromide Data Reporting Under the Montreal Protocol
Reporting: first steps for monitoring. This handbook is designed to further assist countries to provide quality data reporting on methyl bromide consumption and production, as required under Article 7 of the Montreal Protocol, as differentiation between quarantine and pre-shipment (QPS) and non-QPS uses, poses a particular challenge to Parties. UNEP DTIE OzonAction Programme has developed a handbook, which provides key methyl bromide data reporting information and guidance, in a simple and user-friendly way. Financing came from the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol, with input from the Ozone Secretariat, the Multilateral Fund Secretariat, national ozone officers and methyl bromide experts from the public and private sectors in developed and developing countries.
