Integrated solutions to protect ozone layer and
safeguarding climate change. This video highlights
safety practices when working with hydrocarbons
in refrigeration. An animated figure, 'Mr Cool'
is the viewer's guide to the latest environmentally
friendly cooling agent. Hydrocarbons were used
in fridges before CFCs were invented, and now
they are making a comeback as alternatives to
ozone depleting CFCs. In Germany, the UK and China,
hydrocarbon fridges are fashionable again. They
are an efficient and cost-effective replacement
for cooling equipment using CFCs.
