Phl Secures Montreal Protocol's Assistance in HCFCs Phase Out in Foam Sector
2 February 2011 -The Philippine Embassy in Vienna reported that the Philippines secured the approval and assistance of the Montreal Protocol 62nd Executive Committee in the implementation of the project entitled "Sector plan to phase out hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFC)-141b in the foam sector" (Foam Sector Plan) last January 27.

Ozone Secretariat Releases 2010 Scientific Assessment Report
January 2011 - The Ozone Secretariat has released the Scientific Assessment of Ozone Depletion 2010, which presents new and stronger evidence of the effect of stratospheric ozone changes on the Earth’s surface climate, and of the effects of climate change on stratospheric ozone.
