22nd Consultative
meeting on Business & Industry - 2005
The 22nd UNEP Consultative meeting on
Business & Industry was held in Paris on 17 - 18 October
2005. The meeting celebrated UNEP DTIE's 30th anniversary
and focused on industry sector Report Cards. UNEP DTIE is
facilitating the preparation of a series of sector Report
Cards, whereby business & industry organizations and
associations provide feedback on progress made since WSSD
2002 towards sustainable development. During the meeting,
four clustered sector groups (extractive industry; water,
energy & transport systems; manufacturing industry;
services) with business and industry representatives and
stakeholders were set up to comment on draft sector Report
Cards.
