Description / Synopsis IFAW’s campaign tackles the wildlife trade issue and its consequences in a humorous way. If African wildlife is wiped out, there will be no more animals left for tourists to look at during safari trips. |
Context Wildlife trade is an ongoing problem that endangers wildlife species. As it is a highly lucrative business, poaching numbers are steadily rising. Many tourists are unaware that buying wildlife souvenirs is mainly what keeps this business alive. |
Philosophy/Solution IFAW’s philosophy is to stop wildlife trade all together. It does so by raising awareness on the fact that buying wildlife “souvenirs” contributes to the extinction of species. |
