Description / Synopsis

WWF wanted to communicate the importance of preserving trees in Kolkata, by highlighting their role in fighting air pollution.

Brooms were tied together and made to look like foliage. These tree look-alikes were planted along city roads which face heavy traffic congestion.

The message that trees “sweep” the air clean was communicated in an evocative way to the citizens of Kolkata. This helped make them more active partners in the movement to save the city’s dwindling greenery.
