Description / Synopsis

In Luxembourg, an estimated 190.000 tonnes of household waste is produced each year, the equivalent of almost 500 kg per person, which is far too high. This is why this campaign aims to raise public awareness about the issue of “weight”.

Context

Campaign launched during the European Week for Waste Reduction.

Philosophy/Solution

Sidor campaign aims to raise public awareness on waste reduction. In order to succeed, Sidor invites us to learn simple gestures in our everyday life: avoid “overpacked” goods, separate our recyclables, make our own compost or repair instead of replace. Whether at home, at work or even at the supermarket, everyone can participate by applying these simple tips.

Results

A very well-publicized campaign that received substantial press coverage, great visibility and a very positive public perception.
