An essential and complete toolkit to train and teach on sustainable lifestyles

youthXchange is a training kit on responsible consumption designed to reach the 15 to 25 year old global consumer class. The kit is composed of a training guide and an associated website. youthXchange provides trainers and teachers with clear, reliable and compelling information on sustainable lifestyles: key concepts and real life examples of more sustainable consumption patterns and lifestyles are provided to show in a very entertaining manner that change is possible and it starts from our own attitudes and behaviours.

youthXchange attempts to make youth in affluent societies aware of the global imbalances in access to the basic needs and the impact of unsustainable lifestyles on economy, society and the environment. The kit incorporates the relationship between economics, environmental fairness, and social justice so as to encourage youth to take shared responsibility for their society and participate in the creation of a better future.

UNEP/UNESCO youthXchange has been chosen as an educational tool on sustainable consumption for the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
